Thomas Radman - Coachella

	John Beaver and Thomas Radman have been doing the Coachella Mixes since 2004 purely in the spirit of the festival. What started out as an obscure idea, to make something to listen to for Coachella fans that had long car rides ahead of them, turned into an annual ritual with quite the indie following. The concept is to take all the artists that are playing at the current Coachella and mix them together as if it was a dance music DJ mix. The end result is an Indie Rock/ Pop/ Dance Music mash up mix that never stops. This is the 7th annual set of mixes and they are as always available free for download. Enjoy! Thomas Radman Aug 16, 2011 @ 10:40 PM @B-Dizzle: The idea was always to get a mix of the artists that are playing at the Coachella festival before the festival starts so people have something to listen to on the drive there. This was the original concept of these mixes and this is how we've been doing it for the last 8 years. Having the live recordings and mixing those together would be fantastic of course, but then all these people wouldn't have a fresh mix to listen to on the drive up to the festival. B-dizzle Los Angeles Aug 14, 2011 @ 12:43 AM What a disappointment...I was hoping these would be the live tracks from the show I spent three days in the hot sun enjoying. No such luck. Anybody could mix radio tracks together. If you're going to bill this as a "Coachella Mix", it should be the music performed at Coachella. Good idea though. Next year maybe?
